January 2012

  • Annual Meeting notes. At the recall of the annual owners' meeting held on December 13th, quorum was made. Elections were held, Greg Ebert and Siobain Beddow were elected to the Board of Directors. Officers for 2012 are Siobain Beddow - President, Ann Laffin - Secretary, Christina Saribay – Treasure, Greg Ebert – Director and Chad Barrington – Director and ARC Representative.

  • Volunteer opportunities available in 2012:

  • 2012 Budgets. The 2012 Budgets, Reserve Study, and Maintenance Plan have been posted on the Documents page.

  • Dog waste removal: Please remember to pick up after you four legged friends. Not only is it disgusting and inconvenient to step in but it is unhealthy for our water systems. Click for further information on what dog waste does to our water systems when left on the ground. For your convenience and the community’s integrity there are five doggy bag stations located throughout the community. If the stations are out of bags it is still your responsibility to clean up your dog’s waste. Let’s work together and take pride in our neighborhood.

  • Rowhome lawsuit update. Vial Fotheringham has provided an update on the construction defect litigation, which you can download on the Archives page.

  • Light up the dark: Rowhome owners/tenants should check and replace burnt out light bulbs above garage doors in the alleyways. These lights turn on automatically at night and help deter theft and other unwanted activity. An additional step for keeping our community safe is turning your front porch light on at dark. Courtyards and streets are very dark at night, this simple step would greatly increase visibility and again deter unwanted activities. The very minimal cost of keeping a light on at night is worth it for your safety and that of others in the community.

CC&R REMINDERS

  • 4.10 Parking: Parking shall only be in garages or driveways if no portion of the vehicle overhangs the street, sidewalks or pathways. In addition, parking of vehicles is prohibited on any public/private street or Common Area within the Property unless so designated as a parking area. Alleyways are posted no parking at any time.

    • Please remember to be courteous when parking on the streets in the community. Please note that garages should be mainly used for parking and not storage. Owners also need to use their driveways before taking up street parking. Parking in the alleys (behind the homes with backload garages) at Arbor Roses is not permitted at any time. Illegally parked vehicles can be towed at the owner’s expense.
