Arbor Roses Neighborhood Yard Sale: The second annual neighborhood garage sale is slated for the weekend of June 26th, 27th, and 28th. The advertised hours will be 9am to 4pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But you can decide to participate for as little or as much of that time as you choose. The HOA will do all the signs along the main roads, and advertisements in the Oregonian, and Argus. The homeowners just need to put up signs to direct traffic down the side streets and put out their stuff. Make money off your unneeded stuff!

Besides letting you know what is going on in our neighborhood we also need to let you know that there are consequences to the list above as many of them are costly to all of us as homeowners. Repairing the damage is likely to eventually result in an increase of homeowner's dues. It is fair to say that we all hope to live in a safe, worry free neighborhood. Some of the incidents above have required the Hillsboro Police and/or the Hillsboro Fire Departments to respond. With summer on the way and more free time for our younger residents, the Board of Directors would like to encourage parents of teenagers to know where your children are and with whom they are associating.

Following is a list of websites and activities you might want to consider in order to give your kids something to do this summer:

The Outpost at Shute Park has free lunch and crafts. It runs from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mon - Fri. Art, crafts, sports, reading, "Water Wednesdays", science, and special guests. Parent participation encouraged. open to youth ages 1-18. Lunches for youth only.
